Airport limo by ByB Remises It's quick and easy to book your aiport transfer. You simply need to search your destination after that, you will receive a email with the confirmation. When you reach the destination to meet your airport transfer, go to airport arrivals hall. Once there, you'll either be met personally by our driver who will be holding your name on a sign.

The main airports are Carrasco International Airport (22 kilometers from downtown Montevideo), Laguna del Sauce International Airport, in Punta del Este (Maldonado) and Laguna de los Patos International Airport in Colonia de Sacramento.

The new Carrasco International Airport was opened in 2009 and is considered one of the most modern and attractive in the world. From there you have easy access to downtown Montevideo and destinations on the east coast, with direct buses to both points. It is also possible to catch a shuttle bus, take a taxi or rent a car in one of the car rental companies located at the airport.

Montevideo

Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay, harmoniously combines modernity and tradition. Ancient architectural treasures such as el Cabildo, the Iglesia Matriz (Matriz Church) and the Puerta de la Ciudadela (City Gate), styles such as Art Nouveau and Art Deco and cutting-edge modern buildings such as the Torre de las Comunicaciones (Communications Tower), give the city a unique identity. Its History

Montevideo was founded by the governor and captain of the Río de la Plata, Don Bruno Mauricio de Zabala. The foundational process of the city occurred between 1724 and 1730, during which time the earliest settlers began arriving from Buenos Aires and the Canary Islands. In 1833, a new layout was planned for the Ciudad Nueva (New City) which began to be fully implemented from 1861. Unlike the Ciudad Vieja (Old City), which was walled around its perimeter, the Ciudad Nueva had wide, tree-lined streets where sumptuous shops and large residences were located.
